Jan 01, 2015· Before I got my KMG belt grinder, all I had was a hand held ( inch) Makita angle grinder. I was able to do hollow grinds with a flap wheel sanding disk. The shape of the disk worked pretty well in creating a rough hollow grind, followed up with hand sanding. It's a good way to go if you don't have the money for your belt grinder yet.
